A native of the state of Louisiana, Jamie started
riding motorcycles when he was just a boy. He
started with small dirt bikes, and moved up to
motocross bikes. From there, he decided to ride
"dirt track" or "flat track" motorcycles. Even
though he enjoyed it, Jamie wanted to go faster,
and eventually gave road racing motorcycles a
try. The thrill he received from the sheer power
and speed of these amazing machines was like
nothing he had ever felt before. It was then that
he decided what he wanted to do with his life . .
.go really fast! With the help of his family, a local
motorcycle dealership in Baton Rouge, and a lot
of hard work, Jamie got the opportunity to race
professionally. He would go on to win championships
and the hearts of fans the world over and
earn his nickname, "The Ragin’ Cajun".
